Particle Concentration Comparison of Radiator and Floor Heating Systems under Zero Air Change Rate Condition
نویسندگان
چکیده
As a result of isolating doors and windows very well to reduce heating energy costs, some environments' air change rate becomes zero. Two different systems (radiator floor systems) widely used in residential applications were compared for room where the is zero, using numerical methods terms particle concentrations. 3D dimensional CFD simulations show that system performs better removing pollutants dispersed homogeneously room, while radiator more effective emitted from source close floor. It was concluded special care should be taken not have ground surface environments used.

Numerical Study of Heat Transfer and Aerosol Deposition in a Room Environment with Under-floor or Baseboard Heating Systems
In this study, heat transfer and aerosol deposition in the under-floor and baseboard heating systems have been investigated, numerically. The aim of this study is a comparison between these heating systems. This comparison obtains the optimal heating system with low suspended particles in the air. Computational fluid dynamic with Eulerian-Lagrangian method has been used to simulate fluid and pa...

Physiological and subjective responses in the elderly when using floor heating and air conditioning systems.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of a floor heating and air conditioning system on thermal responses of the elderly. Eight elderly men and eight university students sat for 90 minutes in a chair under the following 3 conditions: air conditioning system (A), floor heating system (F) and no heating system (C). The air temperature of sitting head height for condition A was ...
متن کاملComparison of airflow and contaminant distributions in rooms with traditional displacement ventilation and under-floor air distribution systems
Traditional displacement ventilation (TDV) and under-floor air distribution (UFAD) systems have been used widely because they create better indoor air quality. Many previous studies have compared the TDV or UFAD systems with mixing ventilation systems. This study first compared experimentally the TDV with UFAD systems that use four different diffusers (perforated TDV diffusers, swirl diffusers,...
